I have gone back to school! Well sort of, kind of. As of the last weekend in January I began studying for a Fashion Industry Certificate from the Parson’s School of Design and Teen Vogue online program. I’m so excited to be pursuing this program because I have always wanted to learn about the fashion industry without all the effort of actually going back to formal school.

What’s great about this program is that it costs less than a normal certificate program and it’s completely online. You can also go at your own pace so there is no rush to finish everything at once like a typical college course. Which let me say has been a life saver for me lately. I’ve seemed to have bitten off more than I can chew lately.

I do have to say this class is not for the lazy or the laze fair type personalities. They really want you to work for your certificate which is great! The courses are broken into lectures and then you are given a series of 5-7 assignments. Several of the assignments require you to use Pinterest, Instagram and even writing a blog post or two (you are about to see several roll out on this blog here).

I’m excited to share my progress with you as I go through this program and hope you get some insight to it as well.
